I love brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes so why not put them together to make a party in your mouth side dish.

Some benefits include: Vitamin A, C , and K, folate, omegas, the list goes on…

INGREDIENTS:

BRUSSELS SPROUTS
SWEET POTATOES
DRIED CRANBERRIES
WALNUTS
OLIVE OIL
MAPLE SYRUP (OPTIONAL)

Protein Energy Balls

If you are looking for a quick snack on the go to replenish and recharge your energy, this snack is for you!

Ingredients:

1¼ cup – rolled oats
3 tablespoons – shredded coconut
1 cup Qia Superfood (almonds, chia, buckwheat, and hemp cereal) – if you don’t have the Qia superfood you can just combine the almonds, chia, buckwheat, and hemp together
1 Tablespoon of Maca powder
1 Tablespoon of Cacao Powder
1 scoop – whey protein powder or vegan protein powder
½ cup – honey
½ cup – peanut butter or almond butter

In a medium bowl add the oats, coconut, almonds, chia seeds, buckwheat hemp seeds combo, macs, cacao powder and protein powder. Stir until well distributed. Add the honey,  peanut or almond butter and stir well. Put mixing bowl into the refrigerator for about 20 to 30 minutes. Then roll into rounded balls. When chilled, they can last about a week.

Protein Pancakes

I am officially addicted to protein pancakes….like YUM!

These have become part of my Sunday ritual. I shared these delish pancakes on my insta last Sunday.

You won’t be disappointed.

Recipe:

1 Egg

1 Cup of protein powder (any kind should work)

1 Cup of water

2 TBSP of Chia Seeds

1 Banana

1 Cup of blueberries

Syrup (Optional)

Whisk the egg, protein powder, water, and chia seeds until smooth. With a large spoon scoop the batter making individual pancakes. Once the pancakes have cooked place them onto a plate. Chop the bananas and wash the blueberries and place over your pancakes :)

How To Make Almond Milk

How to Make Almond Milk:

RECIPE:

1 1/2 CUPS OF ALMONDS

4 CUPS OF FILTERED WATER

1 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT (OPTIONAL)

SPRINKLE OF CINNAMON (OPTIONAL)

1 TSP HONEY (OPTIONAL)

1 CHEESECLOTH OR NUT MILK BAG

INSTRUCTIONS:

SOAK ALMONDS OVERNIGHT IN FILTERED WATER

BLEND TOGETHER THE ALMONDS, WATER, AND ANY OF THE OPTIONAL CHOICES – BLENDING THE INGREDIENTS FOR A FEW MINUTES UNTIL PUREED.

PLACE CHEESECLOTH OVER CONTAINER AND POUR ALMOND MILK THROUGH THE CHEESECLOTH. GENTLY SQUEEZE THE CHEESECLOTH TO GET THE REMAINING OF THE LIQUID.
